The Most Important Video Ever, How to Buy A Piano
The Most Important Video Ever, How to Buy A Keyboard
If you want to learn to play a musical instrument and can't decide which one, then the Ultimax PA900 combines piano, organ, guitar, drums, percussion, brass, woodwind, and strings, all into one instrument. With two 61 note keyboards and a bass pedal board you have complete control over your musical performance.
Piano
Touch sensitive keys and a choice of acoustic piano samples cover all musical requirements from classical through to rock, blues, and jazz. Even the classic sounds of the vintage Fender Rhodes and Wurlitzer pianos are re-created in the factory and legacy library of the Ultimax PA900.
Organ
Since 1935 when the first Hammond organ was manufactured, musicians worldwide have raved about this unique sound. The Ultimax PA900 not only gives you this instantly recognisable sound but includes a full set of nine digital drawbars for you to shape the sound yourself. Rotary cabinet effects with slow/fast switching add the realism of the original Leslie speaker system.
A range of Church organs are included from the smallest of chapel organs right through to the thunderous sounds of Cathedral organs that reverberate with natural acoustic effects of all sound chambers.
Drums.
With over 70 drum kits, you can choose to be a rock drummer, jazz, blues, dance, garage, or hip hop. There are even full orchestral kits which include tuned timpani. Record your own patterns or choose from the library of professionally made patterns that include fills, breaks, Intro, and endings.
Guitar.
Most guitarists will end up with a collection of guitars to cover the different types and styles of music that they play. The Ultimax PA900 covers all guitar types including Classical, Flamenco, Steel string, Country, Rock, and many more. With dedicated guitar effects in the comprehensive FX section you can re-create those classic guitar sounds through the decades.
The Orchestra:
The Ultimax PA900 really is a one-man orchestra with vast brass and woodwind sections and the most amazing string sounds you have ever heard. Store your own favourite combinations and change from solo instruments to full orchestral ensemble at the touch of a button. Clever DNC voicing makes the transition between sounds even smoother and brings out the arranger in you.
Recording:
Simple one touch recording lets you record your performance and save it as an MP3. You can then share it through email, facebook, You tube, or just keep it for yourself. You can even record anything that is connected to the input of the Ultimax PA900 like a microphone or guitar for example.
Styles:
More than 750 backing styles are pre-installed on the Ultimax PA900 covering music genres from all over the world, new and old. 4 variations are available on every style alongside drum fills, drum breaks, intro’s and endings. With extra added accompaniments reminiscent of the popular Technics, Ketron, and Gem, models of yesteryear, the style section of this instrument is second to none.
iPad Friendly.
With the dedicated Songbook App, the Ultimax is even easier to use. More details from Keysound.

Korg Ultimax 900 Keyboard

+

I have not yet had the opportunity to have a good "GO"on the 900, it seems very complicated to the Tyros 4 I had. However the keys themselves seem flimsy and require rather a lot of pressure. HEY-HO! onward and upward.

Like all new keyboards, it will take me time to get used to it but I am slowly getting there and it is very impressive.
