Digital Pianos

What is the difference between a Digital Piano and an Electric piano? Well quite honestly nowadays there is no difference.
In the early days of Electronic pianos there was no such thing as digital technology in the world of musical instruments. The very first electric piano is attributed to Bechstein who produced the Neo-Bechstein electric grand piano back in 1929. Since then we have moved from valves, transistors, PCB circuit boards, and finally on to digital.
The iconic Wurlitzer electric piano made famous by the likes of the Carpenters and Supertramp was the very first piano that we sold brand new here at Keysound back in 1976. As a specialist today we are one of only a few shops to offer pianos from all of the major manufacturers of digital pianos. You will find Keysound in Leicester, right in the centre of the country, with easy access to Nottingham, Coventry, Birmingham, and Northampton.
