Korg release new Pa5x firmware
We are thrilled to unveil a highly anticipated firmware update for the Korg Pa5x.
This release brings a host of innovative features and enhancements that will enhance your musical experience. Let's dive into the exciting improvements that await you.
A selection of new Sounds, Styles and Pads have been added to the Factory Banks as well as many other performance enhancements.
This new release also now makes it possible to save 2 Styles ( one in each player ) to a Songbook entry. This will enable you to either blend 2 styles together in perfect sync or use 2 separate styles within a piece of music (eg Verse - Chorus) which will give you a total of 8 Keyboard Sets to use.
One of the most eagerly awaited features is the ability to convert and load Songbook files created on the Pa4x. This is now possible via a new addition to the FILE MENU called Data Conversion. The Pa5x can now convert the whole of your original Pa4x Songbook file with the exception of any Third Party Samples and MP3. However these can both be easily re-linked after the conversion has been done.
The overall speed of the instrument has been improved and there are many small, but never the less, significant improvements and enhancements to both the interface and performance side of the instrument.
The Korg pa5x is without doubt one of the most creative Arranger keyboards ever produced and this update will only add to your enjoyment of playing it and hopefully inspire you to try new ideas.
